On Sunday 18th Aug, Inlay Ensemble will be joined by award-winning Australian jazz vocalist Trish Delaney-Brown performing a selection of jazz standards and original tunes in an improvised 2x set show. The Inlay Ensemble is an Australian modern string group directed by double bassist Elsen Price.
Their debut album 'Songs for Habitual People' received 4/5 stars in The Australian and have performed numerous critically acclaimed and high profile events in Sydney since 2019.
With the description of 'modern', the group has performed classical music, jazz, world music, improvised collaborative music, music for spoken word, and intensive collaboration with living composers. The musicians who perform in the ensemble are performers who work in multiple genres professionally, giving a uniqueness not like any other string ensemble around.
